November Book Update

I’ve read or listened to 49 books in 2023!

I got distracted with life, the universe, and everything this month, so it ended up being kind of a light month for reading/listening to books. Still, three isn’t bad.

Behold…the books I either read or listened to in November.

Proper Romance
This is the third book of this series that I’ve listened to. Which tells you that I really like them! Historical romance with mystery and a tiny bit of action. Great narrator.

Horror
Vampires. Political intrigue. Action. All awesome things in this story. This one is only on Audible and is produced in a radio play style, which can be fun if you like that sort of thing.
There is a LOT of swearing in this series. In case that matters to you.

Horror
Alice in Wonderland is twisted enough, but this story dives into layers of darkness that are truly terrifying! Perfect for a fan of the original and horror.

This coming Saturday, December 2nd, is Utah Author Day!

The Governor put out a declaration about it.

There will be authors all over the Wasatch front at book stores and libraries signing books and chatting about writing. Please go talk to them. Most authors are introverted by nature, and could use your help being social. (Not me. I love talking to people!)

I’ll be in two locations:

12:30 – 2:30

Barnes and Noble in Murray
5249 South State St
4:30 – 6:30

Tis the Season!

This past weekend I participated in my first holiday event of the season!

I’d never had a booth in this particular show, and I’m glad a couple of amazing authors invited me to join them!

The show is over, but I wanted to share a picture of our booth as we were setting up.

Mostly because the hubby and I designed the fireplace, and it looks amazing! (IMHO)

If you’re in need of paperbacks for Christmas, hit me up! I have a few left over.

I’ll be out and about twice more before Christmas.

If you live in the Salt Lake City / Provo, Utah area, come to the American Fork Library this Saturday for a mini writing conference! There are classes, a keynote speaker, a Q&A panel, and amazing authors to talk to! It’s a free event. Come say hi. 🙂

The first Saturday of December is Utah Author Day. I’ll be at the King’s English chatting and signing books! Come hang out. Buy some presents. Or just books for yourself.
