New Release!
It’s finally here!
The Hunger Kills, the sixth, and final, book in my Girl and Her Cat Series is out.
Yay!
I started this series in 2020, as a fun way to distract myself from everything that went down that year. It’s taken me a long time to finish it, but I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I feel like I nailed the ending.
Usually an outliner for my stories, I didn’t have a solid direction for this one. I followed it like you walk on a rug that’s furling out in front of you.
Did I expect it to have a social media focus?
Nope.
But, it makes sense. If the apocalypse is a slow burn, and teenagers still have phones, what do you think would happen?
It has heart, it has snark, the teenagers are mostly not idiots (I mean, their teenagers, there’s only so much I can do and make it realistic), and I make fun of more apocalypse tropes than you can throw a hundred sticks at. (Okay, maybe that’s hyperbole.)
